Peoria Chiefs Merchandise

Concept Case Study

For this concept project, I created a poster and shirt design for the Peoria Chiefs to celebrate Opening Day and capture the energy of minor league baseball.

The goal was to design something that fans would actually want to wear, not just another generic team shirt. I leaned into a vintage inspired illustration style with bold typography and playful character work to reflect the fun, community-driven atmosphere of a Chiefs game.

The design was built to work across multiple touchpoints: a collectible game day poster and a retail ready t-shirt. By keeping the artwork strong and adaptable, the same illustration could live on merchandise, social graphics, or stadium signage, maximizing the value of a single piece of artwork.

This project explores how thoughtful illustration and bold design can turn everyday team merchandise into something fans are proud to wear long after the game ends.
